We have codified what we believe to be best practices in crypto asset tracing but have collaborated with industry stakeholders across the board to get persepectives from every angle and institute an advisory board that can bring clarity to ambiguity. The goal is to standardze a process that can be put "on the stand" rather than having to rely on every investigator's individual training and experience. If we want to scale this fight, we need ways for new investigators to have the confidence and support to get on the stand and defend thier traces. So when asked what makes you so confident that the funds seized are related to your victim, you can answer, I applied the BATS method.
